Detroit Art Museums

The city of Detroit is fine is many art museums and exhibits.  Greenfield Village and Henry Ford Museum located in Dearborn, MI are located together and are the 2 most popular in Metro Detroit.  An important museum located in Detroit is the Museum of African American History.  If music is your passion, make sure you vist the former headquarters of Berry Gordy and Motown Music Museum.  Detroit is home to a fine art museum called the Detroit Institute of Arts.  Many fine exhibits from well known artists such as Picasso and Van Gogh are displayed.  Nearby is the Detroit Science Museum where many school age children frequent on field trips.  The complete list of Detroit Art Museums are listed below.
