Ski Detroit

The Detroit Metropolitan area has many fine ski areas within an hours drive of the city of Detroit.  These hills are not nearly as challenging as the beautiful ski resorts in Vail, or Aspen Colorado or Banff, Canada but they do offer the ski enthusiast an outing of exercise and fun.  Alpine Valley is probably the most popular of the metro ski areas.  If you want to consider a ski vacation, then consider the many ski resorts in Colorado, Washington, or Canada. All of the Southern Michigan Ski areas are listed below and can be reached within one hour of Detroit.
